New Feature – Images with Events

6

I have added (version 3.04) the ability to put thumbnails and header images associated with events. Pretty cool. You will need upload your images using your FTP or other method. All you have to do to use is place the link in the event setup page. The Event listing link is 4×3 aspect. I recommend your image for the thumbnail be 150×112. For the header bar image on the registration page, that should be no wider than 450. I recommend 450 x 150 for the header image. Please let me know what you think.event-with-image

    Hi David

I tried to send you an email at consultant@avdude.com but it was rejected

Happy to have your plug-in but I’m having a few problems:

As of today’s upgrade the events are spread out and no longer presented in a nice tight list.

Also, displayed is “End 0000-00-00″ I’d like to remove that.

And your web site mentions a sort by date feature, which I would really like but cannot find.

As it is my events are display randomly and it would really help to have them displayed by date.

This post did not show up easily either I had to route around to find a place to contact you.

    Thanks
    Much appreciated.

The issue reported with Event Registration has been resovled:
Also, are you aware that both the Accept check/cc option on the form setup and the allow multiple registrations reverts back to yes on both every time you edit the form? It doesn’t bring back the value when editing the event details. I have both of these set to NO and every time I make an exit to the form they go back to YES. Kind of annoying for sure.

Please download the latest version from the wordpress website

  4. Just installed the new version tonight. What is up with the event id showing at the top of the page? See the ’2′ on this page…

I see no reason to be showing this and impacting the layout. Can you tell me the file and line to remove this?

    Thanks.

Delete line 10 from event_register_attendees.inc.php (echo $event_single_ID['id'];). It was left in by mistake when I was check functionality.

    My apologies

is there a short code similar to [Event_Registration_Single id=??] to show the attendees list for a specific event. The single Active event will be a problem for us !!

We can have 2 parallel events eg Angling matches on BOTH a river and a canal and we may even want to have a 3rd on a lake!!
